Overview

Occidental Cala Vinas is an all inclusive family friendly hotel with direct access to the white sand beach of Cala Vinas. The hotel has a Spa centre and an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Location

The hotel enjoys direct access to the beach and the clear waters in the sheltered cove of Cala Vinyes, in the Bay of Palma. The hotel is surrounded by pine trees and nearby activities include tennis, cycling, catamaran sailing, diving, horse riding, windsurfing and water skiing. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and it is approx 3km from the lively resort of Magaluf. The hotel is approx 29km from Palma Majorca Airport.

Facilities

Occidental Cala Viñas is a member hotel of the Barceló Hotel Group and formerly called Barceló Cala Viñas.

The hotel has 2 outdoor swimming pools, a children's pools with water slides, an outdoor jacuzzi, sun terraces with loungers, parasols and sitting areas, lawned gardens and direct access to the beach.

Further leisure facilities and activities include a Spa, a small fitness centre, snorkelling, a children's playground, a children's mini club playroom with ball pool and a games room with table tennis and pool tables. The U-Spa offers a range of treatment and massages. It features treatment rooms, hydrotherapy pools with jets, a hot tub, a hammam, a Finnish sauna, a Cube shower and relaxation areas.

The animation team organise a variety of activities for adults (such as petanque, shuffleboard, mini golf, yoga), a mini club for children, shows and evening entertainment.

Social and dining venues include 2 restaurants, a snack bar, Sa Calobra entertainment bar and the Es Mirador bar. The Ses Voltes restaurant offers buffets with show cooking, a pasta corner and a regular Majorcan theme night. The Es Pop restaurant serves light meals and snacks with views over Cala Vinas cove whilst the Es Corb Mari snack bar offers a range of mixed platters and snacks. Half Board will have self-service drinks included with dinner for 2024.

Amenities and services available to guests include 24 hour reception and free WiFi throughout. There is also a mini market, a gift shop, an internet corner, car hire, a doctor on call, currency exchange, picnics and baby sitting (all with local charges).

Rooms

This 4 storey hotel has 337 hotel rooms, family rooms and suites. All room types feature free WiFi, LCD TV, a telephone, a fridge, a hair dryer, a safe (local charge), heating and air conditioning.

The superior rooms sleep up to 3 adults and 1 child. They feature twin beds, a sofa bed an en-suite and a balcony with table and chairs. Some have sea views.

The family rooms sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children. They feature a double bedroom, a living room with sofa bed, a balcony and a bathroom with a rain shower.

The suites sleep up to 2 adults and comprise a bedroom, a living and dining room, a kitchenette, a bathroom with rain shower and a balcony with a view.

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast from 08.00-10.00 lunch from 13.00-15.00 and dinner from 20.00-22.30, all served buffet style in the main restaurant. Snacks are available from 10.00-13.00 and again from 15.00-17.30. Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are available from 10.00-23.00 from various outlets.

All Inclusive guests are entitled to 50% off drinks and 30% off snacks that are not included in the All Inclusive package.

There is also an extensive entertainment programme for all to enjoy.
