Lamberts Colladeen Derma Plus contain one of the highest levels of anthocyanidins (plant flavonoids of PCO's) at 320mg per two tablets from extracts of grapeseed and bilberries. Research of these, and the other aforementioned active ingredients, have identified the role they play in helping to support Collagen, the tough protein that gives skin its elasticity. Colladeen Derma Plus is also the most potent anthocyanidin formula available, providing a full 160mg of anthocyanadins per tablet - many similar products provide less than 20mg per tablet.

What is Collagen?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body. It is found in cartilage, ligaments, tendons elastic tissue, connective tissue and the structural tissue in bones. It also works with muscles and the blood system. 

Collagen is an amazing protein that forms inside and outside the body's cells. When formed outside a cell, it becomes part of a network structure or collagen fiber. The collagen inside the cell is created and then sent, via a process called exocytosis, outside the cell to where it is needed. When collagen formation is slowed, stopped or curbed in some manner, diseases of the skin and other areas of the body can develop. The best way to replace and boost collagen is to boost its formation internally. Vitamin A, vitamin C, Copper, Manganese, silicon and Zinc, all aid in collagen formation and metabolism. However, extreme doses of these Vitamins and Minerals have not yet been medically proven to boost collagen formation.

Directions of Use

Take two Lamberts Colladeen Derma Plus Tablets daily with a meal, or as directed by a practitioner or pharmacist.
