This distinctive Lowland single malt is matured initially in bourbon casks before being finished in Oloroso then Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. The result is a rich yet velvety smooth single malt with elegant notes of blackcurrant, treacle and toffee.
Tasting notes:
Colour: Golden bronze
Nose: Blackcurrant, brown sugar and orange peel.
Taste: Rich, fruity and nutty with hints of cinnamon and lemon.
Finish: Thick treacle and toffee balanced with a rich fruity edge.
