The Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is a special assemblage of whisky matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and finessed by aged Tawny port pipes, hand selected from W&J Graham's vineyard in Portugal.
Purposely retained at 46.5% to complement the enticing warm flavours of the Port and the classic taste of The Dalmore to create a whisky which is indulgent, smooth and complex.
Aroma - Sweet red berries, Seville oranged, plummy fruits and sticky toffee pudding.
Palate - Nectarines, creamy caramel, roasted chestnuts and Java coffee.
Finish - Sultanas, Sanguinello blood oranges and macerated cherries.
Ideally paired with Highland Chocolate from Chocisky.
