GlenAllachie 11 Year Old Moscatel Wood 2020 Release

This is the 2020 release

The GlenAllachie Wood Finish Series consists of signature expressions of our finest single malts. Our Master Distiller, Billy Walker, sources from niche producers around the world and buys small batches of outstanding casks that will complement the GlenAllachie spirit.

This beautifully bronze gold malt was first aged in the finest American Oak Wood Barrels for over nine years before being re-racked into Moscatel Barriques. The second maturation period enriches the flavour, creating a fruitier style of whisky with a very vivid and aromatic nose, typical of the muscat grape.

Tasting Notes:

COLOUR: Bronze Gold.

NOSE: Peaches and cinnamon balanced with heather honey and mocha.

TASTE: A rich combination of heather honey, orange zest and peaches, with notes of cinnamon and mocha in the background.
