Glenfiddich's Solera system creates a whisky that's completely unique. By marrying 15 year old whiskies matured in sherry, bourbon and new oak casks in their large hand-crafted oak Solera Vat, Brian Kinsman, their Malt Master, has created an exceptionally rich, complex and harmonious malt.
Their Solera Vat has never been less than half full since they pioneered the system in 1998, giving their Glenfiddich 15 year old deep and complex layers of warm spice, honey and rich fruit.
