Things to do

The Ushaka Marine World is found on Durban's Golden Mile, and combines Wet 'n Wild, Seaworld, the uShaka Beach and a Village Walk offering a unique world of fun and entertainment.

There are a number of buildings worth a peek and places to visit whilst staying in Durban and just some of these include the Old Fort, Botanical Gardens, De Gama Clock and City Hall.

The city offers a good mix of nightlife, with countless clubs, bars and restaurants available particularly along the waterfront and on Florida Road.

Like many large cities Durban has good and bad areas, be aware of pickpockets in the market areas and along the promenade, and if walking at night stick to the busier tourist areas.
