FETCH Makes History
FETCH was born in November 2017. The idea was simple, to bring everything fashion, fetish fun under one roof. We wanted to create a store that had something for everyone, that was inclusive and put the customer first.
At a time when many retailers were closing their doors, we saw the opportunity to create a brand experience unlike any other. Putting it simply, we made FETCH Happen.
So FETCH
We keep getting asked where the idea for FETCH and the name came from. Not wanting to keep you all guessing, we thought it was time to tell you our story.
At the end of a particularly long day it was decided a trip to the pub was necessary (we know you’ve all had those types of days before!). We got to talking and drinking and then drinking some more...that’s where it all began.
We knew we wanted to make fetish, fashion and fun more of a lifestyle shopping experience, which put the community we wanted to serve at the heart of the concept we wanted to create. The idea was formed and drunken determination kicked in.... but what to call this brand new gay lifestyle shopping experience.
Have you ever tried saying fetish, fashion & fun over and over after far too many doubles and copious amounts of shots? FETCH was born along with the realisation we needed to flip it around to fashion, fetish, fun to avoid the tongue twisting.
That’s where it all started, we hope you’ll all enjoy the journey with us much as we have.
FETCH Keeps on Happening!!
Our London store opened in Clapham on the 26th January 2018. Located close to both Clapham High Street overground and just a few minutes’ walk from Clapham North underground at the heart of the gay community in Clapham.
fetchshop.co.uk launched in May 2018 making FETCH a truly global brand. Shipping worldwide with express delivery options to get the product you want in your hands as quickly as possible. With many extra products available exclusively online all available to order for delivery or to click and collect from store.
In July 2018 we launched our industry leading 3 hour delivery service to selected London postcodes. Nobody delivers like FETCH.
In October 2019 FETCH was recognised by EAN magazine EROTIX AWARDS as Retailer of the Year for 2019.
During the coronavirus pandemic FETCH continued to provide an exceptional service to its customers. Despite restrictions, orders were despatched daily throughout the world and we were proud to be the ONLY Gay London retailer who continued to provide a vital Click & Collect customer service to our customers. This service allowed people to continue following social distancing guidelines whilst maintaining a balanced mental health and well being lifestyle during difficult times.
In 2020 our industry leading Same Day 3 Hour Delivery Service was expanded to cover all London postcodes within the M25. It's never been easier to get your hands on Fashion Fetish Fun!
FETCH + ARCH further supported our mission to provide our growing community in the heart of Clapham with Safe Spaces.
