One morning in September 1910, Charles Gordon stepped off a train at Dufftown, in the heart of Speyside. He was finally home.

Glenfiddich's founder's son-in-law had completed an epic journey, right across asia and back again, to acquaint the continent with his family's wonderful whisky. During this voyage, Charles built relationships for William Grant & Sons that would last far beyond his lifetime. But arriving home in Scotland, the traveller had just one thing on his mind - spending time with the family he had not seen for almost a year.

Glenfiddich 21 Year Old is patiently raised in their Scottish distillery for over two decades. Brian Kinsman, their Malt Master, then innovatively finishes this exquisite Scotch in Caribbean rum casks, awakening their whisky; rousing it with extra exotic notes and a vibrant toffee warmth

Colour: Dark golden

Nose: Intense and vanilla sweet, floral hints of banana, figs, rich toffee, new leather and oak.

Taste: Initially soft, then brisk, vibrant and drying, peppery, a touch of smoke, oak, lime, ginger and spices.

Finish: Very long, Warming, dry and spicy.
