Peat's Beast 30 Year Old Islay Batch Strength Single Malt is the beast of all beasts. Full bodied, rich and intense, it combines the classic Islay notes of peat smoke, tar and seaweed with a dry light smoke after-taste.
Taste: Deep, rich; The Islay peat delivers powerful peat and smoke that subsides with a gentle savoury sweet flavour of sea salt, citrus and chewy toffee. A generous mouthful allows the fires to flow . . . Classic Islay notes of peat, dried seaweed, salty Islay sea air . . . But the fire is subdued by delicate herbal, oak, heather, and citrus notes concluding with a long peaty finish.
